Selma Blair played the doting mother for the new leading man in her life.
The Cruel Intentions actress took baby Arthur for a day out to The Grove in West Hollywood, getting into the festive spirit for holiday season.
Giant candy canes and snowmen were dotted around the shopping resort, to get the 39-year-old star and her firstborn in the mood for Christmas.
Coordinating her outfit with her four-month-old, both Selma and Arthur wore blue jeans and beige cardigans to keep out the chill.
But with the sunny Californian temperatures, there was no need for bulky winter jackets to hide beneath.
Instead, the rays were out in force with Selma having to shelter Arthur's eyes at one point, covering his face with her hand.
However, Blair did cover her brunette locks under a hat after revealing she is suffering post-partum hair loss; an unwanted side affect of pregnancy.
She said: 'This is so not glamorous, but it’s true: I need to take longer showers so that I can collect the hair that falls out and throw it away so I don’t clog the drain. Why do actresses never talk about that?
'It just started falling out at the three-month mark. And I’m not a girl who likes extensions, so Selma’s going to be bald!'
Many new mothers experience hormonal hair loss as a result of declining oestrogen levels, usually around four months after giving birth.
Selma and her fashion designer boyfriend Jason Bleick welcomed the new addition to the family in July.
Speaking of her son, Selma said: 'I’m so in love with him. He makes me happy every day.'
